Leon is a member of the Association of Dental Technologists of Ontario (ADTO), a registered active member of the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario (CDTO), a member of Dental Technology Academy (DTA), of Aesthetic Design and Implant Academy (ADIA) and a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Joe Abad Santos is the man behind Virtual Axis 109 Dental Design. His dedication to quality and precision allows Joe to create masterpieces that put genuine smiles on faces. An engineer by nature, his early interest in mending things and his attention to detail have helped him succeed in the field of dental design. Joe has been working as an expert in his field since 1999. He started in New Hampshire as a Lead Captek Technician and was then sent to different states to learn at seminars and lectures, gaining expertise on topics like philosophy, research, and the application of dental designs. Joe then worked in Methuen, MA as a Production Manager, where he learned the flow of running quality production. From there, Joe began traveling to New York where to facilitate demos, as well as represent companies at national and international conventions. He was sent to Germany and Switzerland to receive training on how to install and use milling machines; Joe was also commissioned to train clients needing mechanical and technical support in the U.S. and abroad. Relocating to Connecticut, Joe started the Milling Center that helps manage the overflow production of big and small laboratories here in the United States and Canada. He also became the Chief Technology Officer for a dental lab in Phoenix AZ. Selected because of his skills and industry insight, Joe was asked to serve as a Beta Tester for some of the leading scanner and design equipment and software in the industry. He currently gives one-on-one CADCAM training to lab owners, and he is one of the familiar faces teaching the educational seminars on Exocad, CADCAM, Scanning, and CAM Nesting techniques during LMT Lab days. Alejandro Sánchez Toro Alejandro nació en Málaga en el año 1973. Cursó sus estudios de Prótesis Dental en Granada y tras acabarlos, pasó a formar parte del equipo docente del Centro de Formación Profesional de Prótesis Dental Jobesa, donde impartió clases en el módulo de removible acrílico y metálico durante 8 años. Fue allí donde conoció a su actual pareja, y juntos fundaron su actual laboratorio, Sociodental, el cual dirige desde el año 1994. Durante ese tiempo, combinaba su trabajo de docente con el trabajo del laboratorio, y cuando el tiempo se lo permitía, seguía su continua formación, recibiendo todo tipo de cursos para ampliar sus conocimientos. Llegada la situación en la que el laboratorio exigía más tiempo de dedicación se vio obligado a dejar la docencia para dedicarse plenamente al laboratorio. En el 2006 se sube al tren de la tecnología adquiriendo el primer scanner y donde comienza su formación en el sector tecnológico Digital Dental de mano de las firmas digitales más importantes dentro del sector dental nacional e internacional. Przemek Seweryniak graduated from Lund University’s School of Dental Technology in 1993. At age 23, he founded Cosmodent AB, a dental laboratory, in Malmö, Sweden. Cosmodent is now one of the most renowned dental laboratories in Sweden. The cases are made solely in full ceramics and more then 60% are aesthetic and functional cases. More then 75% of all incoming impressions today are from trios and his goal is to be 100% digital, eliminating analogue impressions by the end of 2019. He is a founding member of the Swedish Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and gives lectures and hands-on workshops internationally and throughout Scandinavia. Przemek is the only ESCD Certified Dental Technician in Scandinavia. He is also the only Swedish Dental Technician who has received three gold and two Silver medals in the AACD annual Smile gallery competition and in 2017 he received the Sverker Toreskog Award.
